Technical Information
Technical information for presenters of the scientific conference
Talks
All presenters are required to register for the conference.
- Oral presentations are 20 minutes in length including 3 minutes of discussion (speakers of Session 5, please note: There is an exception to the rule in Session 5 where presentations are 18 minutes long, including 3 minutes of discussion). Rehearse your presentation beforehand. Session moderators will hold you to your allotted time.
- Arrive 10 minutes before the start of the session (not the start of your talk) and introduce yourself to the session chair.
- Slide Requirements: A 16:9 widescreen format will be used for projection of slides. There is no required template for presenter slides.
- Please upload your slides in the Lecture Hall at least 2 hours before your session. The presentation should be saved at the presentation laptop. Use the following file name code: AMMM_SessionNr_PresenterFamilyName.pptx (example: AMMM_S01_Friedrich.pptx).
Posters
Please prepare your poster in DIN A0 portrait format and attach it to the designated places on Sep 11, 2024 by 13:30 pm at the latest. Pins will be available on site.
Poster Pitches
A time limit of 2 minutes is set for the presentation of each poster in the lecture hall. The presenter and the title of the poster will be introduced by the chairperson (30 sec.). Each poster must then be presented in a 1:30 min. teaser talk. Prepare only one slide to summarise your main findings. To ensure a smooth change of presenters, please send your PowerPoint pitch slide (format 16x9) by Monday, Sep 09, 2024 at the latest to info@ammm.science. Use the following file name code: AMMM_PosterNr_PresenterFamilyName.pptx (example: AMMM_P02_Behrends.pptx)
